Appliance and Electronic Repair Reimbursement

Overview

After thirty (30) days from the effective date of membership, you are eligible to receive a 20% reimbursement of the payment made to repair an appliance or piece of electronic equipment located in your primary residence.   Reimbursements are limited to 20% of the repair payment or $100. The maximum amount you can receive during a twelve (12) month period is $500.

Description

After thirty (30) days from the effective date of membership, the member is eligible to receive a twenty percent (20%) reimbursement of the payment made to repair an appliance or piece of electronic equipment located in the member’s primary residence.   Reimbursements are limited to twenty percent (20%) of the repair payment or one hundred dollars ($100). The maximum amount the member can receive during a twelve (12) month membership period is five hundred dollars ($500).

The reimbursement amount is excess of any other coverage available which would include but not be limited to; a manufacturer’s warranty, extended warranty, home warranty, homeowners insurance, credit card benefit, etc.

How To File a Claim

How to File a Claim:

To receive reimbursement member must call administrator  within thirty (30) days of the repair to request a claim form. Once the member receives and completes the Repair Claim Form, it should be included with:
 
1) A bill from repair company showing:
a) the date the repair occurred,
b) the problem causing the repair,
c) the manufacturer and serial number of the appliance/electronic, and
d) the amount charged for the repair.
2) Evidence that member paid repair company ( e.g. canceled check,
credit card statement, etc.)
