Do you have pets or children? If so make sure you keep your new furniture looking new with the Home Furniture Gaurd protection. Children and pets cause several accidents in the home, this service will cover damage done to your furniture caused by those common accidents.

Description
Fabric and Leather/Vinyl Stain Removal
If Your Product(s) fails to resist accidental staining or damage during normal residential use, We will provide service consisting of labor and parts necessary to restore Your Product(s) to like new condition. Furniture must be located in primary residence only. Primary residence is defined as where member lives nine (9) or more months out of the year. Member can be reimbursed up to $250 per year.
Any damage must be reported to Us within ten (10) days of the occurrence to avoid permanent setting of the stain. Stains that are covered under this plan include the following: household food and beverage stains; stains from humans and pets, including saliva, urine, stomach fluid or blood; ballpoint pen ink, wax, crayon, facial cosmetics or nail polish; burn or singe marks caused by brief contact with flame or heat; and accidental rips, punctures or tears. In the event that We are unable to correct covered accidental staining or damage to Your covered Product(s) during the coverage period of this Plan, You have the option to cancel and receive a refund of the purchase price paid by You for this Plan, less the sum of costs incurred for the satisfactory resolution of all other claims paid, if any, where allowed by law. Your cancellation will excuse Us from any further performance under this plan. In no event shall We or the Retailer be liable for any damages as a result of the inability to correct accidental staining or damage.
Structural, Component and Surface Failure/Damage
Coverage is provided for, but not limited to:Structural: structural defects to frames, such as warpage and frame breakage, separation of frame components on/in solid wood, veneer, laminate, lacquer or engraved photo finished Product(s), breakage of welds and the accidental bending of structural metal components, such as recliners, dinette sets, sleeper mechanisms, swivel rocker bases and springs, excessive loss of foam resiliency to cushions on upholstered Product(s).
Component: component failures - defective light fixtures, casters, wheels, drawer pulls/slides, broken and defective hinges, motors, massagers and heaters, unless these are still covered under the manufacturer’s warranty.
Surface (Wood, Metals, Glass and Mirrors): surface damages - checking, lifting, cracking or peeling of wood and laminate finishes, scratches, chips, gouges, stains, water marks, loss of silvering to mirrors.
If Your covered Product(s) structural, components or surfaces fail or become damaged during normal residential use, We will make every attempt to restore Your Product(s) to like new condition. We cannot guarantee exact color matches and natural grains. In the event that We are unable to correct structural, component, or surface failure or damage to Your covered Product(s) during the coverage period of this Plan, You have the option to cancel and receive a refund of the purchase price paid by You for this Plan, less the sum of costs incurred for the satisfactory resolution of all other claims paid, if any, where allowed by law. Your cancellation will excuse Us from any further performance under this plan. In no event shall We or the Retailer be liable for any damages as a result of the inability to correct accidental staining or damage.
YOUR OBLIGATIONS PRIOR TO RECEIVING SERVICE UNDER THIS PLAN:

2.) On-Going care and maintenance of your product (s)
3.) On-Going care and maintenance of fabric and leather/vinyl.
WHAT IS NOT COVERED:
This Plan does not cover anything not specifically mentioned in the coverage section. This program does not cover damage caused by improper cleaning methods or improper cleaning materials, or damage caused by the application of topical treatments (other than those provided by Us or the Retailer specifically for the covered Product[s]) that may adversely impact the effectiveness of the original protection. Damage caused by transit, delivery, redelivery, or movement, including damage caused by packing or unpacking of the covered Product(s), is not covered by this program. Stains from dye, bleach, caustic solution, felt tip marker, tobacco products or chewing gum are not covered under this Plan. This Plan does not cover fading, color loss, and or discoloration This Plan does not cover consumables. This Plan does not cover any recall program or other manufacturer defective products whether the manufacturer is in business or not. This Plan does not cover showroom-displayed furniture. This Plan does not provide coverage for “as is”, “pre-owned”, rental or non-residential furniture, rattan, bamboo or wicker used outdoors, plastic (ready to assemble [RTA] furniture, or inherent design defects including, but not limited to, natural inconsistencies in wood grains, wood stains, fading, sunlight or dust corrosion, cotton fabrics, “X” coded fabrics, non-colorfast fabric, delamination of microfiber, inherent design defects including, but not limited to, natural inconsistencies in fabrics, coloring or dying of leathers, fading, sunlight or dust corrosion. This program does not cover normal wear and tear to fabrics and leathers, such as soiling from everyday use including body oil, hair oil, perspiration, darkened bodily contact areas. Splitting of seams and defects in buttons are not covered. Leather scratches are not covered. Cracking or peeling of the leather topcoat or finish is not covered, as they are not natural characteristics caused by aging. The only instance where cracking or peeling to the leather topcoat is covered is when You have applied the leather maintenance products as recommended and the treatment fails to perform as intended. Leather flaws and manufacturer’s defects that cause rips, cuts or punctures are excluded from coverage. Excluded from coverage are outdoor furniture, pet damage other than pet bodily fluids such as damage from teeth, beaks or claws, nubuck, suede, split hides and other sensitive leathers, faux stone, fossil stone, marble, brass or chrome.
PRODUCTS NOT ELIGIBLE FOR COVERAGE: This Plan does not provide any service for Product(s) used for commercial or institutional purposes. This Plan is only available for new products purchased from a retailer and including a manufacturer’s warranty at the time of purchase
SERVICES NOT COVERED: This Plan does not cover service, maintenance, repair, or replacement necessitated by any loss or damage resulting from any cause other than normal usage, such as, but not limited to, loss or damage due to misuse, abuse, unauthorized repair by others, collision with any other object, loss or damage resulting from failure to provide manufacturer’s recommended maintenance or inspection, add-on products or accessories, attachments, rust, corrosion, battery leakage, sand, dirt, insect infestation, damage or stains caused by acts of God, fire, water, windstorm, hail, earthquake, exposure to the sun or other heat source, exposure to the cold, theft, negligence, riot, or any other peril. IN NO EVENT SHALL THIS SERVICE PLAN BE LIABLE FOR SPECIAL, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES WHETHER IN CONTRACT, TORT, OR NEGLIGENCE. This Plan does not cover preventive maintenance. This Plan does not cover claims arising from any breach of implied or expressed warranty of merchantability or fitness of the Product(s) from the manufacturer. Initial installation, assembly or hookup of Your Product(s) is not covered. Removal and reinstallation are not covered under this Plan, except as determined by Us. We shall not be held liable under any circumstances for any indirect, consequential or incidental damages, including loss or damage to person or property, arising from the use of, or inability to use, or from the repair or replacement of the Product(s). This Plan does not cover any and all pre-existing conditions prior to the effective date of this Plan.
